so here's the lyrics to Jesus of Suburbia; City of the Damned.
of the 7-11 where i was taught.
the motto was just a lie.
it says home is where your heart is, but what a shame
cuz everyone's heart doesn't beat the same.
we're beating out of time.
city of the dead
at the end of another lost highway
signs misleading to nowhere
city of the damned
lost children with dirty faces today
like the holy scriptures of a shopping mall.
and so it seemed to confess.
it didn't say much but it only confirmed
that the center of the earth is the end of the world.
and i could really care less.
city of the dead
at the end of another lost highway
signs misleading to nowhere.
city of the damned
lost children with dirty faces today.
i remembered the times where cally and i used to go around school with a earphone stuck in each of our ears. when Year 3000 played over and over again till we got tired of the song. when we decided that American Idiot and Boulevard of Broken Dreams are the suckiest songs in American Idiot. when Linkin Park was still famous, and Yellowcard wasn't. until Mr Sng told us that we should stop going around school with an MP3 player. so we stopped.
mummy's being unreasonable. i think thats what adults do. and i think as kids, we shoudln't question much and let them vent their anger on us. i think. i should shut up and die before i make anymore decision that will make people sad. i must master the art of coming out with a win-win situation. fast
