there are sooo many things that we tend to grow away from.. small little things that made us happy when we were younger just don't work the same way anymore. but there are still things that don't amuse us reminds us where the heart lies, where the love is from, that we should always remember to appreciate it.

like.. you know, when you were younger, new things always amuse you. (okay there are still quite alot of easy ways to amuse me now). it was always an easy job for your parents to amuse you. but when you grow older, these things changed. im surprised that mummy still waits for me and my brother to open the new letter box for the first time. i mean.. of course opening new letter boxes isn't exactly what i would define entertaining, but i think its really really sweet of mummy to wait for us to open it together. she has done more than just cleaning the house and cooking for the family.

other than that, i had a weird weird weird conversation with jarrett yesterday. first of all, http://web.rp.sg/52303/t01.htm vote for them okay? hahah damn exciting. like horse racing. so the conversation started by this.

me: this is so exciting. its like horse racing. so addictive.
jarrett: this is better. you get a sense of satisfaction if you win.
me: but horse racing win money!
jarrett: hahah you money face
me: money > everything
jarrett: tsk tsk. you money face. thats not true. true love is free!

and we went on and on about the debate of money over true love. anyone has any views?

me: hahah i think this conversation is getting a little weird.
jarrett: yes it is. hahah i dont feel comfortable disscussing this with you.
me: yah lah! let's talk about less weird stuff.. like cake baking
jarrett: just as i suspected. you're weird.
me: hahah at least less weird than debating over money & love right.
jarrett: whats weirder is suddenly changing it into cake baking

HAHAHA and because of this, he thinks that i'm weird.

me: fine. you suggest a topic.
jarrett: nothing
me: john cage's 4:33

hahahaha this is damn funny luh. for those who don't know what's that, its actually a piece of 'music' composed at the period of time where everyone were debating over what really is music, and this guy came up with a concert and sat at the piano for 4 mins and 33 seconds and recorded the sound that the audience made. basically, no composition at all.

jarrett: i'm surprised you know such stuff. you aren't as stupid as you looked after all.
me: !!! so you mean i look stupid?!

okay. not funny. i need to play WoW, but the connection at the library doesn't allow me to. ):
