so now we have singaporean mummies going up to the media going 'ooh my kid claims that maths was difficult. the questions were out of syllabus etc etc.'
CHILDISH please. and we should all be happy that the paper is difficult, because that means a lower passing mark when they do the cumalative frequency graph. further more since maths is combined with science, this means that the passing mark for science is pulled down too.

we all realise how singaporeans complain alot.
i am so not exempted. i complain alot too. due to....
-a higher standard of living in singapore.
people are generally more educated and hence wants the best out of everything and in fact, we just want to be better then our neighbours.

positive: this encourages competiveness amongst the society and hence services would be more efficient and students would be smarter.
negative: people grow colder and the meaning of doing things had been lost. this would also pressurise the students who cannot meet up to their parents expectations and contribute to stress.

-a higher lvl of technology.
many families own at least one computer at home that has acess to the Internet and therefore their source of knowledge had been expanded. instead of spending time looking through catalougues, the infomation that one needs is just a click away. even kids nowadays know how to use it.

positive: less time needed for more information.
negative: pollution. more fossil fuels needed to be burnt for the electricity needed. and kids would tend to spend more of their parents money on the gadgets, making them less aware of the importance of saving mone.

okay this is so crap.
but seriously, stop complaining and start working on things that worths our time.
example studying chemistry.
omg.

and practising maths. im so dead.
lessons officially start at 1130 tml. i have to complete my tuition homework. meanwhile, i have to complete my music homework.
and soon, i have to memorise all my chemical test.
science prac is just next thursday.
