okay lets see what we have for news.
something about a boy from one of the top schools got fined/arrested for flaming his teacher on his blog.

and yes, im blogging about this now. im shure it's risky, but i have to say it. sue me if you want to, isit really worth the money anyway? here's my rant:

so the Singapore Goverment has come up with rules such as we, as Singapore students shud not talk anything bad about our teacher or we'll be locked up. but do we get a reward for praising our teachers? i do not think so, because i've been praising some of my teachers and no one had ever given me any plague or anything similar. why is this so?

and the poor boy who got caught. does the problem really lie within the boy himself? why not think about what made the boy write such things?
i think the most crucial thing about being a teacher or a mentor generally is to instill the respect from the students. if he does, why do the student talk bad about him? and if he can't do this, i certaintly do not think that he is a good teacher and i think he shud be sacked. what is a teacher for, if he cant even teacher the most basic courtesy thing and that is to respect?

and so now, we have teachers who go 'boo hoo hoo mr minister mommy come lock up so and so because he said something that made the class laughed at me and i can't think of any ideas to punish him'
ABSURD please.
the government had promoted creativity recently. all about arts and whatsoever. but is that the only way you can think of to be creative? what about the teachers? why can't they use their creativity to punish the students? what is this? a teacher teaching something to his students something that he himself cannot even do? like wows. lets all teach the younger generation to fly. as in literally fly.

i do admire teacher who knows what they are doing and such examples are Mr Sam Sng. he has his ways to disipline his students and i do not hear anything amongst the students except praises about him. i am quite shure that there are many teachers who are like this, and if they can do it, why not let the rest of the teachers use them as examples and stop whining?

this whole weblog thing is retarded. its been made retarded because of selfish Singaporeans like you and i. we live in such good conditions that we complain whenever something goes against our way, we'll sit there and cry for help.
we'll have a next batch of teenagers who can't express themselves and hide everything to themselves and what? there'll be job generation for more psychiatrist and the economic will improve? hmms. or the next moment you'll tell the children..
'kids, please do feel free to express yourself using whatever way you feel comfortable with. you will go to jail if you do'.

maybe we should improve on things.
